Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Hooksterr (the "Service"), operated by Hooksterr ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Hooksterr is a privacy-first webhook infrastructure tool. It lets you generate webhook endpoints to receive, inspect, verify and forward incoming HTTP requests, with optional notifications and replay.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials and API keys secure. You must provide a valid email address and be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to receive, process or forward content that is illegal, infringing, malicious (e.g. malware distribution), or that violates the rights of others. You may not use the Service to send spam, attempt to overload or attack third-party systems, or circumvent usage limits.

4. Plans, billing & payment

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis. Card, wallet and local payment methods are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for those transactions. Cryptocurrency payments are processed by NOWPayments. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice for future billing periods.

5. Refunds & cancellation

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

6. Privacy

Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy. In short, we do not store the content of webhook payloads for anonymous sessions and we hash IP addresses.

7. Availability & changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use section.

9. Disclaimer & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hooksterr is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
